Open Jeugd Kampioenschap Arnhem (OJKA)
| Leuk schaakfestival met IJSCO | Zondag 22 mei was er een erg leuk schaakfestival met IJSCO gehouden door
onze zuiderburen. Voor ons ASV-ers dus het meest geschikte toernooi van het hele
jaar want in Arnhem en er viel bovendien vanalles te beleven. Schaaksimultaans,
huisschakers/politiek-schaaktoernooien, raindropchess en elk kind een gratis
ijsje, en een erg lekkere ook.
Geen wonder dat de helft van de
jeugdafdeling was uitgelopen. En De Toren was zo vriendelijk voor elk van onze
jeugdspelers een aparte groep in te richten. Immers spelen tegen elkaar doen ze
maar op de donderdagavond dus dat hoefde nu niet. Het betekende voor
jeugdleiders Tijs, Theo en Koen wel kilometers maken tussen de 10 verschillende
zaalruimtes.
Buitengewone vermeldingen zijn er voor de jongste spelers.
Teun presteerde erg goed en kwam tot 6 punten, helaas nipt te weinig voor de
top-3. Jan zegevierde glorieus met liefst 8 punten in zijn groep Q en werd dus 1e!
Drie van onze andere jeugdleden hadden de pech als laatste te zijn
geplaatst in hun groep. Elke tegenstander zou dus beter moeten zijn maar de
prestaties waren subliem. Xadya pakte nog 3 remises uit de 5 partijen en Floris
won zelfs 4 maal! Helemaal spande Bryan de kroon. Na de eerste rondes stond hij
dansend in de gang want was op dat moment nummer 1! Hij sloot uiteindelijk af
met 3 punten waaronder winst op de groepskampioen, oud-ASV-er Lorens.
Ook
tot 3 punten deze dag kwamen Jean en Pieter. Laatstgenoemde echter uit minder
wedstrijden namelijk maar 5 dus een prachtige plusscore en hij pakte de 2e prijs! Tot slot wonnen ook
Hugo en Julian diverse potjes en kwamen tot 2,5 punt. Maar Julian's vader Duncan
had ook succes want hij speelde mee in de
huisschakers/politiek-schaakzaal en pakte de 3e plaats!

KJV Onlyism does nothing but create divisions amongst Christians and churches. Just because someone prefers to read the NIV or NASB or NKJV makes them no less of a Christian than someone who reads the KJV.This is a tool of the devil himself. The only people who care about what version of the Bible to read are Christians, and this movement can do nothing but cause disputes among Christians.A good read on this is “The King James Only Controversy” by James R. White.

How about getting a math book and look up Sphere and you will find that all spheres are circles but not all circles are spheres. Get a real big thick dictionary and look up Circle. You will find words like compass(which is another definition of the orginal hebrew word), sphere. Now take a picture of you sitting on that flat circle. Not an airial shot but just a strait on shot so that the person looking at it can see you really good. Show it to someone and ask them what you are sitting on.

Apple laptops zijn state-of-the-art, ze zijn echt beter dan windows laptops. Thats my opinion…let me know what u think. I happen to recently have moved to the North Region singles and have been a disciple for 12 years now. Bye
